Harrington EQ 3-Phase VFD Electric Chain Hoist
Harrington's EQ Series three-phase dual speed (VFD Control) electric chain hoists are ergonomically designed for easy installation and operation in medium and heavy-duty industrial applications. These hoists have an extremely compact and lightweight body and are perfect for any work station application.

Harrington’s EQ dual speed VFD 3-phase electric chain hoists are designed for medium to heavy-duty industrial and workstation applications. These hoists include a unique no-load high-speed function that automatically increases hoist speed up to 130% when the load is less than 30% of working load limit.

Brake Extremely durable and reliable, this advanced design contains no brake coil to fail like conventional disc brakes.
External Motor Fan:
Functions to quickly eliminate resistor, motor and brake heat. This results in improved hoist duty rating and greatly lengthens brake life. Motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC)
Precisions Machined Helical Gears:
Immersed in oil bath lubrication results in quiet, smooth and cool operation.
Durable plastic containers are standard. Corrosion Resistant Load Chain Nickel-plated, Grade 80, DIN chain for superb durability and strength.
Forged Carbon Steel Hooks:
Under excessive loads will open gradually and not fracture. Ball bearings produce smooth rotation. Bottom hook will swivel 360 degrees. Heavy-duty hook latches are standard.
Optional Suspension Bar:
For low headroom or enclosed track trolley applications. Easily changed from top hook to suspension bar. Compact Aluminum Body Die-cast body is lightweight and offers low headroom – one of the best in the industry. Paint is electrostatically applied.
Completely Sealed Body:
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including harsh environments. (Consult Owner’s manual for details.) Gaskets throughout the hoist provide for an IP55 rating.
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD):
Dual speed controls vis “under-the- cover” variable frequency drive for both single-phase and three-phase hoist. VFD includes count hour meter, load limiter and no-load high-speed function. Long life friction clutch protects hoist from damage and prevents over winding.
Upper/Lower Limit Switch:
Low profile upper and lower limit switches provide excellent headroom.
Unique Chain Guide:
Provides quiet and smooth guiding of chain. Heavy cast iron construction for improved wear versus stamped steel design offered by many manufactures.
Durable Push Button Pendant:
Easy-to-use, one-handed operation. Rated IP65. Standard control voltage is 24V. Strain relief wire is molded to pendant cord for added support and dependability. E-Stop is standard on all pendants.
Extreme Duty Motor:
Increased performance through 30/10-minute duty rating, H4 classification, Class B insulation, cooling fins and external thermal motor protection. Load Sheave Five deep-groove pockets fully support the load chain during operation. Reduces vibration and chain wear. Provides true vertical lift.
Recommended for -4 degrees to +104 degrees F and humidity of 85% or less.

Jib cranes are the most cost effective and versatile type of lifting equipment. They are great for use in production lines to keep machining cells, workstations and warehouse production moving. Jib cranes also work well to aid larger overhead crane systems. Jib cranes are easy to install and cost effective, with less structural limitations than other material handling options.
Follow these basic guidelines to help you choose the correct jib crane for your application:
Capacity: Choose a capacity that is right for current and future lifting needs. Most of the available options at JibCranes.com, up to 5 tons, include a 15% allowance for the hoisting equipment. This allows for full use of the rated jib crane capacity.
Span: Choose a span that is adequate to cover the full work area. Keep in mind that hoist and trolley selection may reduce the end approach, limiting hook coverage and requiring a move to a larger span.
Hook Height: The hook height is the height needed to lift your material. This measurement is equal to height under boom minus the headroom of the hoist and trolley.
Rotation: Jib cranes, depending on their design, have between 180° and 360° of rotation. Be sure that the area of installation is free of obstructions throughout the full range of rotation. Rotation stops are available upon request to limit the range of rotation.
Supporting Structure: When selecting a jib crane be sure to take into consideration the supporting structure. Building structures must be able to support the forces of the jib crane and load. Please, consult with your building designer or an engineer if uncertain of the adequacy of supporting structures. Also, keep in mind that the foundation requirements of freestanding jib cranes will add additional costs.
